I have been travelling in Southern Africa for over 30 years.

For me, it all started with a backpacking trip around South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia. I instantly fell in love with Africa, and upon returning to the UK, I turned my passion into a career, working for many years as a travel specialist for a luxury travel operator. Now, Africa We Travel is my own business enabling me to operate as an independent consultant, specialising in travel to Africa and the Indian Ocean.

My personal and professional visits to Africa have been plentiful; it's been fun and educational!

Over the years, I have revisited South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, including the fabulous Victoria Falls on many occasions. I have bungee jumped in South Africa, White-water Rafted on the Mighty Zambezi, and climbed the highest dune in Namibia known as Big Daddy.

I feel extremely lucky to have experienced all the beauty that resides within its landscapes, wildlife, and the people you encounter along the way. When it comes to delivering top-class service and hospitality, the people of Africa certainly know what they are doing, and this, for me, makes them a pleasure to deal with. For my clients, it means the most outstanding experiences.

It gives me great pleasure to assist others with their African travel plans, and I truly relive the same excitement I had all those years ago when I first visited every time I speak with those who are looking to plan their dream holidays or honeymoon.

It's true what they say: once you leave Africa, it stays with you. For me, it continues to be a gift that keeps on giving, and I feel blessed to be able to share my knowledge and my passion for Africa with my clients to ensure they have the best adventure possible and feel supported along the way.
